The Loviștean Village Museum in Titești

The Loviștean Village Museum in Titești is a must-see attraction, conceived and created by the local community with great passion and dedication, making it truly special.

The Titești Municipality provided the necessary space for the museum in the old school building, and community members brought it to life through financial contributions and material donations.

One of the rooms has been arranged as a traditional Loviștean house, while another replicates the interior of a traditional Loviștean sheepfold.

The items in this heartfelt museum were donated by the village residents. The local community also contributed various representative items for the important trades practiced in the village: tools used for farming, carpentry, barrel-making, weaving, and more.

The museum was inaugurated on October 18, 2014, and features an impressive collection of household items, crafts, and traditional constructions from Țara Loviștei. Access is free, but prior scheduling is required.
