Casa Rozeanu is a traditional house from the Arges region and was inaugurated as a museum in 2016 through the efforts and dedication of Professor Cezar Bădescu.
The house presents the traditional mountain household, encompassing all the necessities of a family in its few rooms. Inside the house, you will find the specific peasant weavings of the region, used for various purposes, including adorning the house.
The most commonly encountered motifs in Arefu are floral or geometrical. The most prevalent colors are bright colors such as green or red, sometimes blue, silver, and gold, but also non-colors like white and black, often used as a background.
In the house, you will also find a wooden lathe, operated by a pedal that transmitted motion through a leather belt, allowing objects to be polished, handled, and finished.
